Master Jane Ophoff

Master Jane Ophoff has been with the school for twenty-three years. She was promoted to the rank of fifth-degree black belt and Master Instructor in Tae Kwon Do by Grandmaster B.C. Yu and holds certification with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and with the Chang Moo Kwan.

She was promoted to the rank of blue belt in Modern Arnis by Master Chuck Gauss.

She has a B.A. in English, an M.A. in Journalism, attended music school, and has worked as a professional musician, editor, and writer. Her experience with language arts and rhythm allows her to combine word, beat, and motion in a way that helps students of all ages learn blocks, punches, kicks, and footwork quickly and easily.

She connects with each student’s strongest learning style, whether verbal, visual, or kinesthetic. Over a hundred of her students have attained the rank of black belt.
